About
Giving Gap was formed in 2020 to help close the funding gap for Black-founded organizations by providing:
- A searchable platform for individuals and institutions to explore and support Black-founded nonprofits.
- Aggregated data that documents the unique strengths and needs of Black-founded nonprofits.
- Campaigns to mobilize and increase giving to Black-founded nonprofits.
Earlier this year, Giving Gap published The State of Black Nonprofits Report, highlighting the crucial role of Black-founded nonprofits in serving communities, driving positive change, and advocating for racial equity and justice. Utilizing data gathered from more than 1,000 nonprofits since 2020, come hear key findings from the report and learn how Giving Gap is redefining how we think about high-performing organizations within the sector.
