The Leadership Circle for Executive Directors is a weekly five-part peer learning group for executive directors of small nonprofit organizations to share challenges and strategies for personal and organizational success. In an informal, virtual roundtable format, cohort members will have an opportunity to share their insights, gain practical solutions, and alleviate on-the-job isolation or stress. The Leadership Circle is a safe space for executive directors to lean on one another for encouragement, ideas, and support. 

We’ve shifted our format to fully virtual sessions in which members can more easily participate remotely. These sessions aim to be as interactive and peer-driven as ever, and we will offer opportunities for members to connect fully as a larger group, in smaller breakout sessions together, as well as amongst themselves in between official meetings.  

Each session will be facilitated by Candid and include occasional guest speakers to share their expertise, as well as cohort members to share their own experiences and questions. There will also be  an array of online learning content for further professional development between meetings. Topics from past sessions include: 

• Work/Life Balance 
• Building Better Board Relations 
• Making Time for Fundraising 
• Clarifying Your Theory of Change 
• Collaborating with Others for Greater Impact 
• Succession Planning 

The peer circle will meet virtually on the following Fridays from 9:00-11:00 am PT/12:00-2:00 pm ET: September 10, 2021; September 17, 2021, September 24, 2021, October 1, 2021, and October 8, 2021.

Please register by or before September 10. The price listed covers the cost of all 5 sessions of the Leadership Circle. 

How Our Virtual Workshops Work: 

Within one business day of your registration, you will be enrolled in this course and receive an e-mail from our eLearning platform, Bridge. The subject line of the email will be “Welcome! Learning awaits”.  This email will have instructions on how to create your own online account in Bridge as well as a link to access your course. 

 In Bridge, you will be introduced to the course and instructor and be provided with a link to the live sessions, which will be held in Zoom on the dates listed above.

You will have access to the course for 90 days after enrollment. The course fee entitles purchaser to one computer log-in which cannot be shared. In addition, no refunds, transfers or credits will be issued. 

Unable to attend the live sessions?  While we strongly encourage you to attend the highly-interactive live sessions, we will record the live meetings and circulate the recording to all course participants within 24 hours of the meetings.
