This series of workshops teaches participants the basics of grant writing. In each course, the presenter will discuss different writing techniques needed to create an industry standard grant proposal. Nonprofit employees, individual grant seekers, or simply the curious student will walk away knowing how to utilize syntax and vocabulary to write effective grant proposals.

About the presenter: Carol Farabee is the presenter for each of the workshops. Farabee has earned an MBA in Management, MS in Information Systems Engineering, and a PhD in Applied Management Decision Sciences. Farabee has a varied and extensive background in mentoring, including grant writing, business start-ups, and nonprofit management.
