The Montana Chapter, founded in 1986, is based in Billings. The chapter provides its members "educational opportunities, networking events and mentoring."
BSI is a 501(c)(3) research and development institute that serves Montana and other Philanthropic Divide states through a unique approach involving research, dissemination, education, leadership development and special projects.

United Way of Yellowstone County
The Volunteer Center helps nonprofit agencies build their skills in recruiting, managing, retaining and recognizing volunteers. The Center provides volunteer management training and consultation, share volunteer management resource information, and provide training and support for specialized groups of volunteers, such as board leaders.
The mission of the Western Montana Fund Raisers Association (WMFRA) is to foster the development and growth of fund-raising executives and volunteers, and to advance the profession of fund raising and the institution of philanthropy in Western Montana.
