Greater St. Louis chapter
The St. Louis Regional Chapter was founded in 1974. It bills itself as "one of the largest, most active chapters in the nation." It offers resources such as events, a job center and a mentoring program.
Founded in 1996, the NSC helps nonprofit leaders through training, leadership development and consultant services. It serves nonprofits in Missouri and Southern Illinois.
According to the organization: "NPower is a national nonprofit that provides free technology training to young adults from underserved communities. As part of their career-readiness program, they give students opportunity for a paid internship with local nonprofits and corporations."
University of Missouri-Kansas City
The Center is dedicated to enhancing performance and effectiveness in the nonprofit community through education, research and service.
The Voluntary Action Center connects local agencies and volunteers with opportunities in the Columbia area to respond to serious social problems and community issues.
