About Jennifer Roller

Jennifer Roller serves as president of The Raymond John Wean Foundation, an $84 million Foundation which seeks to empower residents in creating a healthy, vibrant, equitable and economically stable Mahoning Valley. A life-long resident of Youngstown, Roller earned bachelor and master’s degrees from Youngstown State University (YSU).

Before joining the Foundation, Jennifer served as the director of Upward Bound and SCOPE at YSU. The students served by this comprehensive college preparatory program achieved 100% high school graduation and far exceeded postsecondary
education enrollment and persistence rates. Joining the Wean Foundation in 2007, she has served the Foundation’s in various
capacities before assuming her current role as president in 2014. She was instrumental in establishing the Foundation’s Neighborhood SUCCESS Grants program, the only grassroots grantmaking program in the Valley, which has played a pivotal role in bringing residents to the decision-making processes affecting their neighborhoods. Jennifer now leads the Foundation’s efforts in building and strengthening strategic partnerships with Valley stakeholders to advance community-building in the Mahoning Valley.

About Alesha Washington

Alesha Washington is the Vice President of Government Advocacy for the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP). As a part of one of the largest chambers of commerce in the country, Alesha serves as the lead researcher, advocate and educator regarding local and state government issues impacting the Northeast Ohio business community.

About Donna Murray-Brown

Donna Murray-Brown is the President and CEO of Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA). She leads the strategic direction and overall operations of MNA’s body of work. MNA is a statewide membership organization dedicated to serving the diverse nonprofit sector by offering services, resources, and systems nonprofits need to improve and strengthen their communities.

Prior to being named President and CEO in 2013, Ms. Murray-Brown served as Director of the Metro Detroit Partnership Office and Senior Director of Capacity-building for MNA. In this dual role, she led a successful strategic alliance program for arts and culture organizations in metro Detroit; led the merger negotiations of four organizations to create the Belle Isle Park Conservancy; and attracted national program partnerships and investment to the region including New York-based National Urban Fellows and Wisconsin-based Public Allies.

Before joining MNA, Donna was Vice President and Community Reinvestment Act Director for Charter One Bank where she developed and executed strategy and leadership for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance. She also strengthened the company's business and corporate citizenship with key partnerships of more than 100 civic and community-based organizations.

In addition to her board service as Board Chair for the National Council of Nonprofits, Ms. Murray-Brown serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for Detroit Public Television, is on the Board of Directors for Michigan Associations of United Ways, is a former state commissioner for the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging. She was named one of Nonprofit Times Power and Influence Top 50 for 2018 and 2019, one of Crain's Detroit Business 2018 Notable Women in Nonprofits as well one of the 2019 Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence. Additionally, Donna Murray-Brown was named to the Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees for a term commencing December 18, 2019, and expiring December 31, 2026.
