Lisa Hoffman is a nonprofit coach, consultant, and facilitator deeply committed to a thriving nonprofit community. Lisa Beth is also an ordained Zen priest, bringing Buddhist practices of compassion, active engagement, and leaving ego at the door to her nonprofit coaching and consulting practice. Lisa Beth’s career launched in the chief development officer role, specializing in major gifts programs and campaigns. As a facilitator, Lisa Beth designs and leads board and staff retreats, along with programs focusing on professional and personal development. The latter ranges from mindfulness in the workplace and skillful communication to resilience. After beginning her career at California Pacific Medical Center, Lisa served as Development Director at Independent Living Resource Center, The World Institute on Disability, and Bay Area Legal Aid. An active volunteer, Lisa has served on the boards of the Russian River Zendo, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and as President of the Development Executives Roundtable. She currently serves as Chair of Candid West’s Advisory Committee and offers pro bono workshops to support the nonprofit community.
