About Ann Mei Chang (she/they)

Ann Mei Chang is the CEO of Candid, a nonprofit that provides the most comprehensive data about the social sector—where money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Ann Mei leads Candid in increasing the social sector’s ability to do good using data, technology, and compassion. She is a social innovator and author of Lean Impact: How to Innovate for Radically Greater Social Good.  Ann Mei served as chief innovation officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development and executive director of its U.S. Global Development Lab. She was chief innovation officer for Pete for America, chief innovation officer at Mercy Corps, and senior advisor for women and technology at the U.S. Department of State. She has more than 20 years of experience at Google, Apple, and Intuit. Ann Mei earned a B.S. in computer science from Stanford University.

About Cheryl Dorsey (she/her)

Cheryl L. Dorsey is the president of Echoing Green, a global nonprofit that supports emerging social entrepreneurs and invests deeply in their ideas and leadership. A social entrepreneur herself, Cheryl received an Echoing Green Fellowship in 1992 to launch The Family Van, a community-based mobile health unit in Boston. Cheryl has served in two presidential administrations and currently serves on several boards including The Bridgespan Group and Skoll Foundation. She has received numerous awards, including the Pfizer Roerig History of Medicine Award, the Robert Kennedy Distinguished Public Service Award, and the Manual C. Carballo Memorial Prize. Cheryl has been named one of "America's Best Leaders" by US News & World Report and the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School and one of The Nonprofit Times' "Power and Influence Top 50." She has a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and her master's in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School. 

About Grant Elliott (he/his)

Grant Elliott is the Vice President of Product at Foundant Technologies. Since 2008, Grant has held several titles at Foundant, including Customer Service and Support Manager, Product Engineer, Director of Sales for the Northeast, Director of Sales for all of Foundant, and Vice President of Revenue. Grant enjoys traveling to see clients across the country, and when he’s home, he supports the community as a Child Advancement Project (CAP) mentor with Thrive, grants selection committee member for Bozeman Area Community Foundation and Montana State University's College of Business, and a volunteer for mountain trail projects. 

About Satonya Fair (she/her)

Satonya Fair is the President and CEO of PEAK Grantmaking. Over the past 25 years in the nonprofit and philanthropic space, she has cultivated deep expertise on the funder landscape, nonprofit structures, compliance, change management, philanthropy technology, and knowledge management, allowing her to navigate strategic efforts on many fronts, including diversity, equity, and inclusion issues. Prior to PEAK, Satonya served as Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer at The Executive Leadership Council, where she developed and launched a philanthropic engagement strategy; Director of Grants Management at The Annie E. Casey Foundation; and at Citi, where she supported community relations and foundation giving. 

About Anna Koob (she/her)

Anna Koob is senior research lead at Candid where she analyzes data to say things about the scale and scope of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Since joining Candid (then Foundation Center) in 2013, she has supported the development of a number of web-based tools about philanthropic funding, including Advancing Human Rights, Foundation Funding for U.S. Democracy, and the U.S. Social Sector Dashboard.   

Prior to joining Candid, Anna had stints with the Climate Change and African Political Stability program at the University of Texas’ Strauss Center, the U.S. Agency for International Development in Ethiopia, and a labor rights organization in Chicago. She holds a master’s degree in Global Policy Studies from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. She is a happy resident of Madison, WI where she lives with her family.  

About Dawn Stone, MBA, MA (she/her)

Dawn N. Bell-Stone serves as the Chief Impact and Diversity Officer at the Center for Nonprofit Management. She utilizes her passion for DEI work, coaching, conflict management, and marketing skills to connect CNM’s work to the broader Middle Tennessee community on a daily basis. 

She is the founder and owner of The Conflict Chick. The Conflict Chick is a training company with 20 years of experience providing leadership, communication, diversity, and conflict management training to organizations and individuals across the nation. With over 22 years of public speaking experience, an MBA in Marketing, and an MA in Conflict Management, Dawn is equipped to lead organizations into stronger corporate cultures and improved processes through education and training. 

About Michael Wright (he/his)

Mike Wright is the chief technology officer at the Foundation, a job that involves designing, maintaining and administering all manner of digital technology used at Mott’s headquarters in Flint, as well as in field offices around the world. It’s an ideal position for a self-professed tinkerer who enjoys “nerd stuff.” A former bagel baker and janitor, Wright joined the Foundation in 1999, one year after completing an internship while attending the University of Michigan-Flint, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Wright volunteers as a Boy Scouts leader, and he has coached students in the Fenton AGS Middle School FIRST Tech Challenge and the Durant-Tuuri-Mott FIRST Lego League. Wright serves as a board member at Red Ink Flint and is a director and co-founder of the community makerspace Factory Two. He also serves on the agenda committee for the Technology Affinity Group, a non-profit membership organization that promotes the power of technology to advance the goals of the philanthropic sector. In addition to tinkering, Wright enjoys hiking, biking and camping.
