Preparing for End-of-Year Fundraising Success

Each November and December, fundraisers at nonprofits large and small are consumed by the End-of-Year (EOY) giving season. In these two months alone, many organizations raise as much as 30% of their annual philanthropic income. With so much revenue at stake during the EOY giving season, you need to be prepared with a comprehensive campaign plan that inspires, engages, and retains your donors.
In this workshop, Thread Strategies will share the essentials of campaign planning for EOY fundraising success. You’ll learn when and how to begin strategizing your campaign, including auditing and updating your systems, setting an inspiring goal and messaging, segmenting your donors, managing your cultivation and solicitation timeline, and following up with memorable stewardship. Drawing on real-world examples, you’ll also learn from recent research and best practices about what’s currently working for cultivating and connecting with donors.
This workshop will include ample opportunity for live Q/A and hands-on work so that you walk away with answers to your specific questions and the opportunity to put the wheels in motion for planning your 2022 EOY campaign.
Before you attend: We encourage each participant to prepare for class by brainstorming at least 1-2 questions they want help answering about how to maximize EOY fundraising at their nonprofit.

Within one business day of your registration, you will be enrolled in this course and receive an e-mail from Candid Learning through our eLearning platform, Bridge. This email will have instructions on how to create your own online account in Bridge as well as a link to access your course.
