About David Holmes (he/him)

Dave Holmes is an Educational Programming Manager at Candid, coordinating national trainings and the training and educational programming for the Midwest region. He returned to the Foundation Center (now Candid) in 2015 from a position as Senior Consultant at Grants Plus, writing grants and doing research for a variety of large and small nonprofit clients. In his initial nine-year tenure with Foundation Center, Dave served in various roles including Regional Training Specialist, Interim Director of Foundation Center – Cleveland, and Director of Capacity and Leadership Development.

Earlier in his career, Dave served as a Program Officer for the Stocker Foundation in Lorain, Ohio, and as the Director of Grants and Prospect Research at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio. He is a current board member of Upcycle Parts Shop and a former board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Cleveland Chapter and of Joel's Place for Children. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from Villanova University, and an MLIS from Kent State University.

About Staci Lowell

With over fifteen years' experience as an information professional, ten of which have been in the nonprofit sector, Staci Lowell has seen data transform how the world does business. Her company Giving Insight, LLC assists organizations in maximizing the use of their information resources to strengthen their donor base and improve fundraising outcomes.

Staci Lowell has a JD from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and a BA in Political Science from Taylor University. Her previous work experience includes time at two of Cleveland's largest nonprofits; Hospice of the Western Reserve and Cleveland State University, where she held positions in prospect research and database management.

About Pete Saudek

As ioby's Cleveland Action Strategist, Pete Saudek works with community leaders across Northeast Ohio to create positive and sustainable change utilizing grassroots crowdfunding tools and strategic advising.

Pete has been rooted in Northeast Ohio for the past 10 years as a community organizer, housing justice advocate and musician, working with neighbors to generate community-based projects and campaigns across the city.

About Jennifer Schlosser

Jennifer Schlosser has 20 years’ experience helping non-profits and purpose-driven organizations to connect with their clients, followers, donors, and community members in a meaningful and authentic way, helping them grow and thrive.

As a communications and marketing consultant, she specializes in branding and messaging strategy and building integrated marketing strategies - grounded in best practices - that engage priority audiences and inspire them to take action.

She has extensive experience leading marketing, communications and public relations in many different nonprofit, funder, and governmental organizations in Cleveland and Columbus.

She is a proven strategist and problem-solver who is detail-oriented at heart. She believes in listening to people, and that each person’s experiences, feelings and perspectives are valuable and meaningful. Her colleagues and clients know me as a connector and a leader who leads through building relationships.

She is skilled at working with and building relationships with diverse groups of people, and enjoys working as part of a team that works collaboratively and passionately to achieve objectives.

She is passionate about planting seeds and watching them grow, whether in the garden, or at the organizations and people she has the honor to work with.

Ms. Schlosser graduated Summa Cum Laude from Otterbein University with a B.A. in English Literature.
