About

As stewards of the public good, nonprofit boards have a mandate to eliminate beliefs, practices, and policies that perpetuate structural and institutional racism and exclusion. This means being intentional about changing the composition of members and fostering inclusive cultures. Executive nonprofit leadership can work in tandem with board and governance chairs to support these efforts to evolve and adapt to a more diverse sector and society.

In this session, nonprofit leaders will learn how to support their boards as they shift to create more inclusive and equitable practices related to recruitment, onboarding, culture, and fundraising.
