About

The IRS Form 990 is not just an important financial document.  Form 990 is a public document.  It can tell a story about your organization and enhance your credibility with funders. Foundations often look to the 990 to learn about a nonprofit’s accomplishments, sustainability, governance and fiscal responsibility.

If you are a small Bay Area nonprofit (less than $2M in revenues) and cannot afford professional tax advice, we invite you to come to this workshop, where members of Hood & Strong’s tax-exempt organizations tax practice will discuss the most common errors made on the forms, and provide hands-on practical recommendations.

This is a hands-on workshop and a rare opportunity to get expert advice on completing Form 990. Please come prepared.  Bring your last year’s tax filings and specific questions for Hood & Strong advisers.

NOTE: While this virtual workshop is available to anyone, it will be focused on information applicable to small San Francisco Bay Area nonprofits.

Zoom information will be emailed prior to the live virtual workshop.
