About

To prioritize the safety and health of our communities during this time, we’ve shifted many of our in-person programs to an online format, so you’re able to continue your professional development.

This program is now being offered as a webinar on April 7th at 2 pm ET. If you have already registered for this event, you will receive additional information via email from our training team. If you would like to sign-up for this training you can do so here.

Starting a nonprofit requires navigating a complex legal process, leaving many new groups without the knowledge and resources needed to make practical decisions for their organizations. This workshop will help you understand the various legal concerns new nonprofits face and provide tools to make informed decisions. Susan M. Vignola, an expert attorney from Patterson Belknap Webb and Tyler LLP will review legal structures, walk you through the formation process, and discuss ongoing operational considerations.
