Join us for our first 2020 meeting!
Agenda:
2:00-2:15 - Welcome from the Grant Professionals of NYC & Candid

2:30-3:45 - Workshop: “Drop Everything!” - A Workshop on Handling Grants Emergencies
3:45-4:15 - Networking
More on our workshop:
We’ll wrestle with the kind of challenges that suddenly pop up in your inbox. We used to call these “in-basket exercises.” You come to work one morning, take a sip of coffee, open the computer and WHAM! You’re confronted with an emergency. Forget what you’d planned for the day, you’ve got to tackle this right now. We’ll surprise you with three emergencies to choose from and we’ll work in small groups to brainstorm how to handle them. Full disclosure: we don’t have the answer key. How you manage grants emergencies is a matter of your own work style, your organization and your own playbook. It will be instructive to learn from each other!
We’ll start at 2pm sharp so please plan to arrive early to find your seat and settle in.
Who should attend?
Grant professionals with all levels of experience.
How often do we meet?
