About

"Can I get a grant if I'm not a nonprofit?"

The answer to this question is usually NO--unless you have a fiscal sponsor.  Fiscal sponsorship is a formal arrangement in which a 501(c)(3) public charity sponsors a project that may lack exempt status. This alternative to starting your own nonprofit allows you to seek grants and solicit tax-deductible donations under your sponsor's exempt status.

It sounds simple--but is it?  Come learn from lawyers, funders, and other experts in this free panel discussion.  Learn whether you should seek a fiscal sponsor--or have your nonprofit become one.  Space is limited--register today!

Note: this program will be hosted by Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation. For security purposes, all attendees MUST be registered to be admitted.
