About

You agreed to serve as an officer or director of a nonprofit because you feel strongly about the mission and goals of your organization. Furthermore, you have great ideas for how to maximize the impact your organization will have on the community it serves, but how should you actually govern your organization, avoid legal pitfalls and take advantage of legal protections? Corporate governance can feel like a complicated maze designed to confuse and trap the unwary organization just trying to do something good. As the leader of your organization, navigating corporate governance is your responsibility. Whether this is your first time as an officer or board member of a nonprofit or you have been doing it for years, don’t miss this key workshop!
