Juliana Cope is the Director of Development and Programs Manager for the International Studio & Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, NY where she oversees fundraising including for artist and curator residencies and public programs and curates public art commissions by current residents and alumni. Independent of her work at ISCP, she has curated events at Issue Project Room and Sunview Luncheonette. Cope has lectured at Pratt and Parsons. She is a current member of ArtTable and is on the Times Square Arts Curatorial Committee. She holds a BA in visual arts from Oberlin College with a minor in African American studies and an MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Arts from Brooklyn College.

Madeleine Cutrona is a Senior Program Officer of Fiscal Sponsorship at New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) where she consults with artists about project management, fundraising strategy, and grant proposals. She brings a decade of experience teaching visual art, helping artists connect with audiences, making art and fundraising for her own projects. Madeleine is interested in how artists garner resources, build support, and hone skills to execute their creative visions. She studied Anthropology and Studio Art at the University of Rochester, and holds an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

Diana Kemppainen is the Program Director at the Princess Grace Foundation-USA. She has been with PGF-USA since 2007, and in the Program office since 2010. As Program Director, Diana facilitates the Princess Grace Awards in Theater, Dance, and Film, as well as the continuing grants PGF-USA offers to its roster of over 700 artists. Prior to joining PGF-USA, Diana worked at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in the Education Department and as House Manager. She holds a B.A. from Western Washington University.

Katie Wagner is the Executive Director of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), which provides legal and education services to the New York arts community.

She is responsible for developing VLA’s legal services, education, and advocacy programming, and facilitating pro bono legal representation for hundreds of artists and arts and cultural organizations in need each year. She also oversees the overall operations of VLA, and regularly consults with artists seeking legal assistance.

Ms. Wagner develops curriculum and teaches VLA educational programs, raising awareness of the legal and business issues facing the arts community. She also works closely with VLA’s Board of Directors on strategic planning and governance of the organization.

Prior to joining VLA, Ms. Wagner was Vice President and Counsel for the National Music Publishers’ Association, the leading trade organization representing the interests of music publishers in the United States. Ms. Wagner served as a legal advisor for the litigation and policy initiatives of the association. She also focused on NMPA’s overall litigation efforts and related licensing offerings.

Ms. Wagner previously practiced in the litigation group at Pryor Cashman LLP where she specialized in intellectual property and complex business transaction proceedings. She holds a law degree from Tulane University, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law, and a bachelor of arts in Comparative Area Studies from Duke University.
