About
We live in an epicenter of technological innovation and use technology in our daily lives. But most of us involved in the Bay Area nonprofit sector have yet to understand how the "digital transformation" happening in other industries can be initiated and practically applied within our organizations, helping us serve our beneficiaries and conduct our programs within a rapidly changing world. Foundation Center West will present a panel to address opportunities and challenges organizations face when thinking about the three areas that technology impacts organizations:
- How can technology help our "customers" - our donors, beneficiaries, and volunteers - engage with us?
- How can we transform our operations, administrative, and development costs via technology solutions?
- How could technology help us accelerate or transform our business model, impact, or scale?
This program is geared toward organizations that are already employing basic technology (e.g., website, social media), but want to look at scaling their impact, and find the expertise and funding necessary to take this next step. We'll also touch on how you can best engage volunteers and donors from the tech sector into your work.
Moderator:
Cassie Gruenstein formerly led the Social Impact practice at product design firm, Siberia. She also consults with social impact clients employing methodologies from the nonprofit, corporate, design, and technology sectors.
