E Prep's proposal was very solid in our opinion. There was great attention to detail and specificity in the proposal. This was tricky to do, given that E Prep was a start-up charter school that had yet to begin operations. Yet the proposal painted an accurate and compelling picture of what the school and its students would achieve. The Foundation was able to understand completely the school's vision, goals, and objectives. The proposal even included information on what a typical day would be like. The applicant also accurately followed the Foundation's instructions for what information to include. Weaknesses were few; if anything the proposal could have included a little more detail about future academic plans, including offering advanced-placement courses.
