Greater New Orleans chapter
The Greater New Orleans Chapter was founded in 1980 and has more than 160 members. It has resources such as programs, a newsletter and a membership directory.
Community Development Works (CDW), a program of The Rapides Foundation, provides training, leadership programs, and access to community development resources for nonprofits in Central Louisiana. The CDW site includes maps of area nonprofits, a consultants directory, and links to local nonprofit resources.
The Institute for Nonprofit Administration & Research (INAR) was founded in 2001 to conduct research and disseminate knowledge about nonprofit organizations. INAR strives to elevate the future of the nonprofit sector through transformative education, impactful research, and professional development. They offer a wide range of educational, research, and consulting services to organizations across Louisiana. These services are especially useful for new and established organizations looking to increase their capacity and expand their programs.

The Louisiana Initiative for Nonprofit and Community Collaboration, or LINCC, is an online, geographic database of nonprofit organizations and local community needs and resources. LINCC has been created through the partnership of Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) and The Community Foundation of North Louisiana.
