Publishing in Skilljar refers to the settings around how a Skilljar object is located, found, accessed by your learners, and more.

Your Skilljar objects, such as Courses, Catalog Pages, Learning Paths, and Plans, each have their own publishing settings. These settings will give you total control of the objects in your training program, ensuring the right content is available and accessed by the right audience.

While the process for creating and publishing Catalog Pages, Learning Paths, and Plans is similar and all handled through the Domains and Publishing page, it’s important to note that Courses are created in Course Management - and then published in Domains & Publishing. This means that even though courses are created in Course Management, they won’t actually be available to learners until they are published, which is handled through Domains & Publishing.
